Decembers pet of the month

 

If you like nothing but a hound dog, well here she is and what a beauty she is.  She is up to date on her shots, de-wormed and house trained.  When she needs to go outside to do her business, she bays to be let out and will scratch at the door.  She gets along with cats, small dogs and males.  Blue is great with people but not sure about kids.  She is very friendly, listens well, great on a leash and real mellow.  Knows how to sit, stay and up and come.  This girl sleeps on her bed and is very quiet unless someone comes around.  She likes car rides and needs to be fed alone.  Blue is 22 inches tall and weighs about 65 lbs.  If you would like Blue as a companion and want to give her a loving forever home, please fill out our dog application and she can go home with you.  Applications do need to be approved.
 

August pet of the month

This little girls name is Annabelle who is a 7 yr old Chihuahua that his house trained, up to date on her shots and spayed.  She is a little shy but warms up quickly and is just very sweet.  If you would like Annabelle as a companion and want to give her a loving forever home, please fill out our dog application and she can go home with you.  Applications approved of course.

July's pet of the month

This is Taz.  He is a 3 year old, neutered male Chihuahua mix.  He is full of spunk and love.  This peppy little guy loves to play with toys and other dogs.  He is very cuddly with people and wants to sit in your lap and be loved on more than anything.  He is curious of cats but will not hurt them.  He barks when strangers arrive, but once he knows they are allowed in, he will consent.  He was picked up as a stray and has not been treated kindly in his years prior to coming to YVPR so he is afraid of new people.  Once he knows you are going to be nice to him, he warms right up and will love anyone who lets him.  He is house trained.  His foster family is working on teaching him not to be afraid of a leash (he prefers to just be carried)    :)   Taz is up to date on shots and ready for a loving home.  If you would like Taz as a companion and want to give him a loving forever home, please fill out our dog adoption application and he can go home with you.
